December Is Here!!!
December has settled into SWFL, and the winter patterns are starting to show. Redfish have been scattering across the flats and pushing tight to the mangroves, snook are sliding into their cold-weather spots and the trout bite has been steady across the grass flats.
Offshore, the winds pick up this time of year, so make the most of the calm windows. When the weather cooperates, the grouper and snapper bite has been strong -- and keep an eye out for pelagic fish moving through as well.
